Debit & Credit 5.5: Upcoming Transactions

Scheduled transactions are one of the most popular features in Debit & Credit. It is essential when dealing with bills, salary, and other future payments.

Sometimes you look at an account and ask yourself a question — will I have enough money in it to cover my future bill payments? One way to check that was to use balance forecasting but today I am glad to introduce another way to do that — upcoming transactions.

Now when looking at your account you can your future scheduled transactions displayed right next to your existing transactions. Here is how you can do that in the iOS version of the app:

And in the Mac app, you need to use the menu bar:

Once enabled, you can also optionally enable the running balance to see how your account balance is going to look like in the future, once all scheduled transactions are processed:

Another new feature in this update is local backups in the iOS version of the app. Previously backups were available only on the Mac but now everyone can use them.

Backups are created automatically and can be managed in the advanced app settings.
