Debit & Credit 3.2: Shared Scheduled Transactions
Sharing data with your family or colleagues was always one of the biggest features in Debit & Credit.
What makes me particularly proud about sharing in Debit & Credit is that it is done solely via iCloud. Usually apps would require you to create an account and store data on their server to do sharing which is not good both for security and privacy.
So today in addition to accounts and budgets sharing becomes available for scheduled transactions!
It is very easy to enable it, just go to shared accounts & budgets in the iCloud sync settings and tap on “Manage”. You will also see there if you are currently sharing scheduled transactions:
The person(s) you share scheduled transactions with will have a read-only access. No operations are permitted, he won’t be able to edit or delete them as well.
Shared scheduled transactions will be displayed separately in the “Scheduled” section:
There is one important compatibility aspect though. You need to update the app to the version 3.2 on all of your devices before using this feature.
